this diet isn't going well! last week i pigged out, today i pigged out (had some news that made me sad) i still gym and diet around it, so im not gaining weight but i've only rally lost a pound the last 2 months! and i have whitby next week and my birthday in 3 after that, so its hard to be totally good when i can see a break coming again

i need some quick fixes! anyone got any suggestions. i don't want to crash diet, but i need to loose a bit of weight fast so that i will feel more motivated to keep going because loosing a pound makes me think, fuck it!

any suggestions?

so, i lost 0.2k, not brilliant, but it takes me up to a full pound off, which is better. far rather a pound off than 3 lots of 0.2s :) if that makes sense. anywhoo, hoping to loose another 7 pounds by may 14th, taking me to the even stone mark, and the lightest i've ever been. that's my birthday :)

so wish me luck

LOOK AT THE TURTLE! he's nearly there! (well ok he isn't but he's further along) :)
sorry, feeling pleased. i lost three pounds this week, which is great after last two weeks of no loss and last weeks, im having take out and being a pig and not going to the gym
makes 15 pounds in 6 weeks.

is my reward, if anyone cares. :) for loosing a stone now.
if i can keep this up i should be 10.7 by my birthday. heavier than i wanted, BUT still within my ideal weight range (birthday is may) but i will be happy as long as i can get into the skirt i am buying myself :)

I joined a while ago, fully intending to start eating healthily again - tomorrow. But the second half of 2005 wasn't very good for me, so that was just one more thing to stress about.

I think tomorrow started at last - I have a fridge full of salad, fruit and veg with virtually no chocolate in sight (I have 4 squares of a very dark choc for emergencies). And a major incentive, as I'm going to New Zealand later this year.

So fingers crossed this is it.

so before i run off to watch richard hammond (that boy is EVERYWHERE!)
ive lost 5 pounds this week (over two weeks)
whcih i am pleased with! esp as i didn't go to the gym for a week (had bad cold) and did over eat a few days. so basically, i think i can say, gym good! it builds muscle so even when you ca't go for a bit, you still burn more calories than you did before :)

so yeah. me happy! hopefully if i can keep going at this rate i will be my ideal weight by may and my birthday!

Well, I have lost my first 4lb of the year - which is proving to be so hard. I am more glum about my weight than ever, even though I did keep 7lb off last year. At that rate, though, I'll be dead before I am a reasonable weight. Still, I am at this moment 11lb lighter than I I was at the beginning of 2005, so here's to the year that actually sees my cheekbones again.

vegtable portions
ok, so i have done well at drinking my 8 glasses of water a day. now i drink many many more (and pee far too often!)
so i want to work on eating enough fruit and veg now as well. does anyone know a good guide for how much is a portion? because i have no idea. i can tell with the bigger fruit, an apple or a glass of oj would be a portion, but what about brussels, or peas? how much is a portion? any help?

off to a good start

last friday i was 80.4 kilograms (a gain of a 9 pounds or so over xmas)
this week i am 77.4!

and i have been drinking 2 litres a day of water, so i know that it can't all be water loss, some must be actual fat.

and been going to the gym twice a week as well :)

and even if it is a lot of water, its more weight than i have ever lost in one week before, even with when i restart my diet every xmas!
