Goth Diet 2005/6
LOOK AT THE TURTLE! he's nearly there! (well ok he isn't but he's further along) :)
sorry, feeling pleased. i lost three pounds this week, which is great after last two weeks of no loss and last weeks, im having take out and being a pig and not going to the gym
makes 15 pounds in 6 weeks.
is my reward, if anyone cares. :) for loosing a stone now.
if i can keep this up i should be 10.7 by my birthday. heavier than i wanted, BUT still within my ideal weight range (birthday is may) but i will be happy as long as i can get into the skirt i am buying myself :)
Well done - that's really good going. Glad it's started moving again and 3 is quite a lot in a week. What's your next mini goal going to be? I'm trying for another 7 lbs by the 25th March.
well its 3 pounds in a week, but i'd lost nothing 2 weeks before so it works out in the end :)
i guess i want to loose 7 pounds every 4 weeks really! that's 2 pounds a week, just under. just so i can reach my target by may. but i tend to take it in small doses so now its just 3 pounds by end of feb (my next weight date :) )
I think that's a wise idea. I'm trying to set mini targets but oh too painfully aware that I set myself up for a fall if I fail to get there. I'm imagining this to be a long struggle so while I'd like 7lb a month I'll be happy with three and anything else is a bonus. That's the theory - in know in my heart of hearts I want to get 7lb a week but as I have experienced some weeks even when I'm perfect I don't loose anything!

yeah. i've had those weeks :( they're very annoying, which is why i am trying to get weighed once every two weeks now. had a bad few days already so at least by next friday i would have had a chance to get over that. that's also the good thing about fornight weigh ins, you can have a bad day without it screwing up your weekly weigh in.
so really 3 pounds every two weeks is my target i think. i would prefer 4, considering how hard i work out! but three is enough to make me feel like im doing something.

3 every two weeks is more relaxed and achievable. I know what you mean with the work outs. I sometimes feel that the more I work out the less I loose when scientifically it should be just the opposite. What I am noticing though is that despite being almost the biggest I've ever been I'm starting to see result. This hopefully means that when I get to a goal weight I'll be v. toned and fab!
not sure i can make 3 this week tho, cos i've eaten so badly that in 2 i will probably weight the same i did at the start! so i've written off this week, and will just add another 2 before getting weighed to hopefully loose what i gained, (mostly water) plyus maybe a pound more. cos i think if i diet for a week, then get weighed and am the same, or more, i will be disheartened, at least with another two week gap i have more chance of loosing what i gained and a bit more.
i see some changes in me, but its hidden under teh flab! i guess its harder for us because we're with us every day. its harder to see the changes.
