this diet isn't going well! last week i pigged out, today i pigged out (had some news that made me sad) i still gym and diet around it, so im not gaining weight but i've only rally lost a pound the last 2 months! and i have whitby next week and my birthday in 3 after that, so its hard to be totally good when i can see a break coming again

i need some quick fixes! anyone got any suggestions. i don't want to crash diet, but i need to loose a bit of weight fast so that i will feel more motivated to keep going because loosing a pound makes me think, fuck it!

any suggestions?

dear the_fairy_queen,
i think that the best solution is to not stop eating your favorite foods just for a stupid diet it will make you have cravings and possibly collapse what i suggest is to count calories it's an effective way to know how much u r eating and if you r eating the right amounts if u want to lose a little bit (1 pound:1 month)then you should eat 500 kcal's less than your recommended intake since you sound very active then you are allowed 2400 kcal's if you have a day were you are doing about 30 mins/45 mins then you are allowed up to 2000 kcal's per day but if you're doing no exercise at all then you are allowed up to 1800 kcal's per day.

but and this is for extreme measures only if you want to lose(2-4)pounds per week then you should eat 800 calories less than your allowed
